"the three skincare products every women should own is:
1. Nothing brightens and refreshes skin for everyday glow. It helps make-up to sit better and last longer, and supports product penetration. The rice extract it is gentle and non-abrasive however still delivers a visible difference
This has to be the ultimate investment piece for the healthiest skin. It’s like doing skin boot camp. The 30-day program increases skin functionality and performance delivering rested, healthy, vital, energized skin. If this is your only investment you won’t be disappointed. I recommend doing twice a year or before important occasions.
A go-to product for a special occasion. It leaves skin instantly clear and bright.
The best way to transform your skin fast is…
...getting advice from a skin therapist and use products that are tailored to your personal needs and concerns. Having the right products can be game changing.
To get rid of a pimple …
...don’t squeeze. Although, I know you won’t listen, so this is how to do it properly. Clean your hands and your face. Wrap tissues around your fingers (preferably nails short). Apply pressure from the sides and underneath. Imagine you are trying to squeeze a cork out. Try to get behind and push forward. Then use a toner to sanitise afterwards. The mistake is people squeeze from the top and graze their skin. If you have a blind pimple, trying using an anti-inflammatory gel to reduce swelling.
The biggest mistake most women make with their skin is…
...over exfoliating and being too rough with granular scrubs. Exfoliating is only one element of having a balanced skin treatment regime. For optimal skin health, the art is achieving the right balance between removal and replenishing. It’s about using a replenishing mask in proportion to your exfoliation.
The product I have recently discovered that no one knows about is….
...Blinc Amplified Mascara – it’s a tubular mascara that thickens and lengthens lashes and stays put all day. They say it's 'life proof'. I sit behind a steamer all day long and it doesn’t budge, I've never had that before. Being tubular, the pigment doesn’t drop creating 'black snow' under the eyes. It comes off with water and pressure easily - however, pressure or water alone won’t move it.
For great skin you should eat more…
...probiotics, healthy gut is healthy skin. When the gut is unhappy and not functioning efficiently you can see the result almost immediately on the skin with everything from acne to dermatitis.
One skin-revitalising trick you may never have heard is….
I love blending masks or exfoliants to get more varied results. For example instead of just using a granule exfoliant I will mix it with an acid or enzyme based exfoliant to receive both actions on the skin. Or blend a Vitamin Mask with a firming/hydrating mask.
