Yesterday we braved the sky-high mercury at Bondi to preview Sephora’s latest offerings hitting Australian shelves in 2017. The scene is mostly what you would imagine a beauty junky’s version of heaven to look like: rows of both shiny new and old favourite Sephora brands showing off their latest and greatest. When the day was done, we pulled up our sleeves and got to work on the take-home goodie bag, and these are the top three picks we’re most excited to land on shelves…

Nudestix Skin Glossing Pencil:

Nudestix is a range of easy to use and carry-anywhere-without-mess gloss pencils for eyes, lips and your face (their sculpting pencil duo has already reached cult status). Proving they’re undoubtedly on trend, we fawned over their new Skin Glossing Pencil. With oh-so-glowy skin set to be big in 2017, the clear pencil can be used on eyelids, cheekbones, and lips for a high fashion, glossy finish.

Dr.Jart+ Rubber Mask Bright Lover:

We are obsessed with Korean brand Dr.Jart+, so when we spied the over-animated, almost scary looking rubber face mask across the room, we knew we had to try. A little different from your average sheet mask, this contains a little pouch of a rubbery serum that is applied to the face, before you put a pastel hued rubber mask made from seaweed all over (you read that right). Wear for 40 minutes, and peel of letting the moisturising serum soak into skin. We choose the brightening for a glowy complexion.

Perfekt Liquid Gold:

If you A) like to go on holidays; B) enjoy convenience; or C) like to look glowy, then you will be just as excited as us to try this. This multi-tasking hero is a soft golden hued illuminator you can use on your face, body and even hair. Mix it with moisturiser, add to cheekbones, collar bones, down the centre of your leg or work through salty strands for amazing holiday hair. While it might look like a squeezy tube of yoghurt, the packet actually serves as one of the most convenient travel-friendly products ever.
