As co-owner of Oscar Oscar salon in Sydney’s Paddington and artist for Redken, Paloma Rose Garcia needs to be a walking billboard for great hair. Clients and beauty editors constantly look to her for guidance on the latest trends and techniques, so it’s lucky she has an enviable mane of her own to work with. Even so, she insists that it’s very low maintenance, with two small children, she needs hair that doesn’t take a lot of time. Here, in her lovely bedroom in Sydney’s Surry Hills, she shows us how easy it can be if you work with your natural texture.

Nice tips! I’m in the market for a new dryer – what’s the advantage of an ionic one?

Ionic dryers are meant to react with the ions in your hair and the electrical charge of the dryer and smooth hair, making drying time speedier.
