When it comes to protecting your skin, you might think you have it covered if you wear a sunscreen every day. But as Sigourney explains, that’s only half the story. You need to be shielding your skin not only from UV light, but also from free radical damage. The secret is to layer on an antioxidant serum before your sunscreen.

In this video Sigourney takes you through the correct way to protect your skin from the environment and some super speedy makeup tips to follow.

    Hi Sigourney!
I love Ultraceuticals and was so excited when they brought out a mineral sunscreen. I made the switch from O Cosmedics Mineral Pro but since changing to Ultraceuticals, my skin has become really dry. Admittedly, I don’t use the anitoxidant complex as well but I do use the Ultra MD Brightening Cleanser, eye cream, and C15+ Serum, and Go-To Useful Face Cream in the mornings and my skin has been doing great so I didn’t think I needed to replace my O Cosmedics with two products. I had really high expectations for this product but I’m not sure it’s right for me 🙁

Hi Belle, oh no! Have you tried adding a hydrating serum or product with hyaluronic acid into the mix? And a facial oil at night? X

Hi, if I use other serums in the morning (brightening & hydrating) as well as a hydrating water based moisturiser to follow, where would these 2 ultraceuticals products fit in?
I’d love to incorporate sunscreen into my daily skin care regimen. Would I just apply it on top of the moisturiser, under primer & foundation?
But when would the antioxidant complex be used? As you applied the sunscreen directly following, but I would want to use a moisturiser also, if that makes sense..

Would love some feedback on how else you might be using the products 🙂 Thank you!

    Hi Sigourney!
Thank you for this video! I also want ultraceuticals Ultra UV Protective Daily Shield Mineral Defence SPF 50+. But I doubt a little bit. It has a very high concentration of mineral filters, but no white film. I think that sunscreen has nanoparticles. Can you tell me please, does this sunscreen have nano zinc oxide and nano titanium dioxide?
