Not one to be afraid to speak her mind (the model and actress has spoken openly about her battle with depression and sexual preferences in the past) Cara Delevingne has shown that when it comes to her opinion she won’t hold back. And now the 24-year-old has told People about her outlook on ageing.

“Bring it on, lines! I think lines are experience,” she told the US magazine. “Women should accept that ageing is a beautiful thing, it’s part of life, it’s not something you should fight, but something you should embrace.”

And she didn’t just stop there. Delevingne, who took a brief break from modelling in 2015, spoke about being confident in her own skin.

“It’s not about being weird. We’re all weird. It’s about being who you are and not trying to be anyone else,” she says.

The face of Rimmel London, when it comes to makeup, she’s a fan of keeping things simple. “I’m about [simplicity]. For me, it’s always been about the eyes and brows.”

“Sometimes it’s so hard to wash my face and moisturise every morning and night! But I try as much as possible. I feel like it’s important to look after yourself.”
