Occupying a beautiful corner position on Booth and View Street, Rêve Skin + Beauty Annandale announces itself quietly but confidently. My eye was instantly drawn to the warm burgundy exterior – rich, elegant and inviting. As I stepped through the front door, adorned with an oversized bow for the festive season, I felt an immediate sense of ease. Not rushed. Not clinical. Just calm.

Founder Meghann Nikola and her team greeted me warmly at the door, and before I had even begun my tour, a loyal client followed closely behind me, happily sharing how devoted she is to Meghann and how regularly she books her appointments. It felt like the ultimate endorsement – the kind of loyalty that can’t be manufactured.

Thoughtful Design, Inside and Out

As I was guided through the space, it became clear that every detail at Rêve has been thoughtfully considered. Soft lighting that flatters rather than interrogates. Beautiful cabinetry that feels as practical as it is elegant. Even thoughtful touches like in-built charging cables during treatments – because yes, we’ve all been there.

Meghann and I spoke briefly about her background in science and pharmaceutical marketing, which so clearly underpins everything she has created here. Rêve isn’t simply about indulgence – it’s about evidence-based treatments delivered with warmth, honesty and connection.

Treatments That Prioritise Skin Health

I was then whisked away for my very first lash lift with Samantha. I’ll admit I was slightly nervous, but her calm confidence immediately put me at ease. The results were genuinely impressive, and it was clear I was in expert hands.

My lash lift and tint flowed seamlessly into a Hydrafacial, with a thoughtful handover between therapists to explain aftercare – a small detail, but one that speaks volumes about the level of care here.

During the Hydrafacial, I chatted with Faireen about skin and her extensive experience in the beauty industry, spanning more than 15 years. As the treatment progressed, I could feel the gentle warmth on my skin as the glycolic and salicylic acids worked their magic.

 

The treatment was finished with a decadent layer of Synergie Skincare and a generous application of UberZinc, leaving my skin calm, nourished and visibly refreshed.

From there, I headed downstairs to meet Sara for my manicure. Her work was beautifully precise, leaving me with soft pink nails that felt polished yet effortless – exactly my style.

 

What struck me most throughout my time at Rêve was the sense of trust that naturally develops when you’re being cared for by therapists who truly know their craft.

 

There’s a particular touch that conveys confidence and expertise – something refined only through years in the industry. Every team member I met at Rêve seemed to possess it.
