Amidst the chaos backstage at last week’s MBFWA, four models took a few minutes out of their hectic show schedules to chat with Beauticate about what’s really in their bathroom cabinets. Read on for a look inside the beautiful lives of Julia, Ajak, Maddison and Rachel.

“I don’t do much at all to my skin, I think simple is best. At the moment I’m using Sukin Face Scrub and a Nivea moisturizer with an SPF 30+ but that’s about it. I use Moroccan Oil on my hair every time I wash it – that’s probably the one thing that I do consistently come to think of it. I’m pretty low maintenance and I don’t really wear make up”.

“I have lot of things in my beauty case. I love Chanel nail colours in neutral shades; my current favourite is particuliere. I’ve just discovered this new Lancôme Miracle Air de Teint foundation which I love as it feels so lightweight. In terms of skin care I like to keep it pretty simple. I have an overnight hydrating face mask which I use it twice a week, sometimes more often if my skin feels really dehydrated. When you put it on at night you wake up the next morning and your skin feels amazing. I like to wear it on a long haul flight, I look pretty strange but I don’t care! I take a lot of vitamins (C and D), especially when I’m travelling a lot to give my immune system a boost.”

“I love Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Moisturizer. I use it morning and night. I also wear this amazing Dior Nude BB crème; it has an SPF 15 and makes my skin look really creamy. It doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything when I have it on either. I always curl my eyelashes but other than that I don’t do much else. I don’t like wearing too much make from day-to-day as I like to give me skin a break when I’m not in front of the camera. I also drink plenty of water.”

“I use SKII’s Essential Power Cream moisturizer; it’s so light and absorbs into my skin really quickly. I also use the Facial Clear Lotion toning water. With SK II, I’ve finally found something that works for me. I don’t really wear any make up. I swear by Lucas Papaw Ointment though which I use on my lips and eyelids. My hair can undergo quite a bit of stress, especially during fashion week so I like to protect with Living Proof’s Restore range. I’m going for my first keratin treatment after fashion week too. A few friends have had keratin treatments and say their hair feels amazing afterwards so I’m really keen to try it”.
