Natural beauty products are often met with skepticism, and the question ‘but do they work?’ We all know that rosehip oil and retinol do not exist under the same beauty postcode, but there is something to be said when it comes to incorporating a few natural wonders into your routine. These are our top picks that will give for-real results.

BEST FOR: DATE NIGHT BEAUTY PREP

Sodashi’s Arabian Oud Body Oil

This body oil is deep, woody, and just a little sexy. We love this oil (infused with macadamia, apricot kernel, almond and jojoba oils) for its super hydrating benefits and it evens out skin tone. For best results, smooth over damp skin post shower, and let your skin drink it in before patting dry with a towel. It is also great as a luxe massage oil if you’re wanting to pamper yourself, or someone else.

If you’re dealing with the seemingly odd but common pairing of ageing but oily skin, Argentum Twin Enhancing Face Oil L’etoile Infinie is the answer to your confused skin’s prayers. This dry oil is non-comodogenic (meaning no clogged pores) but leaves skin supple and radiant, naturally. We’re especially impressed with this Argan Oil-based product for its anti ageing benefits – skin really responds to oils when it comes to turning back the clock. Warm between your fingers and pat onto clean, dry skin every night to see noticeable changes in the skin.

BEST FOR: COMBATING ENVIRONMENTAL AGGRESSORS

REN Flash Defence Anti-Pollution Mist

We do our bit for our skin every morning, only to be hit with pollution when we step outside. REN Flash Defence Anti-Pollution Mist is a fine spray that works to shield the skin from free radicals and pollution (not to mention smells amazing). We’re fans of its ability to protect the skin from oxidative stress and stimulate the skin’s ability repair and heal from this kind of external damage. REN products are known for being formulated with no nasties, without losing efficacy and this product is true testament to this well-earned rep.

BEST FOR: A LUXE SKINCARE EXPERIENCE

Tulasāra Radiant Awakening Ritual

If you’re the type who savours the moments spent applying skincare, you need to get acquainted with Aveda (if you’re not already). Their latest Tulasāra Radiant Awakening Ritual promotes microcirculation – which essentially means you’re in for a serious radiance boost to your skin. We love that the skin feels soft and supple almost immediately – can’t beat a fast-working product. Massage the oil onto clean dry skin using the nylon facial brush to stimulate micro-circulation and lift off dead skin cells. Your skin will look and feel so fresh, you might just want to skip the foundation for a while… But, if not, use this at night before bed to let your skin breathe before adding makeup.

BEST FOR: LOVERS OF COCONUT (EVERYONE)

A’kin Antioxidant Night Cream

A’kin has created a super fresh and hydrating Antioxidant Night Cream that is packed full of hydrating coconut water – an ingredient that really brought this product to our attention. We know the beauty benefits of drinking the good water, so were excited to try it topically. Turns out the humble electrolyte packed liquid is good for much more than just our smoothies. After cleansing before bed, massage the cream into the skin and you’ll notice skin is softer right away. But, the true benefits show themselves in the morning, when you realise your skin is still hydrated, fresh and ready to face the day.

BEST FOR: ORGANIC ANTI-AGEING

Kora Organics Phytox Oil

We’ve spent a great deal of time picking Miranda Kerr’s beauty brain (watch our videos herehere and here), for good reason. Turns out the natural goddess uses many of her own Kora products, and our latest obsession is with the Kora Organics Phytox Oil. Packed with plant-derived antioxidants, Vitamin C and Rosehip Oil (and Miranda’s signature Noni extract), the oil works to banish fine lines and refine skin texture, sans chemicals. It’s relatively quick-drying, so you can use morning or evening. Although we’d love to report that you in fact morph into Miranda on application, that is sadly not the case. However, it does bring skin a bit closer to that of Ms Kerr’s and we’ll happily take it.

BEST FOR: NATURALLY MADE UP FACE

Endota Illuminating Highlighter

Endota is a long-standing leader in holistic beauty, and you might be pleased to know they have recently brought a colour range to their repertoire.  Our favourite is the Illuminating Highlighter due to the beautiful creamy gold palette and how it holds through the whole day, or night. Pop it in the corner of your eyes, cupids bow and on cheekbones to fake a ‘I’m back from vacation’ glow that won’t dust off after a few hours.

Is it best to use a facial spray in the morning on clean skin? Or at any time?

How long does a container of the Kora Phytox Oil last? Trying to decide if it is worth the investment…

It says the Argentum oil is helpful for oily skin – the oil won’t make my skin even more oily? It’s hard for me to find an anti-aging product that doesn’t leave me skin feeling even more oily than normal.
