Almond milk has been on our ‘super’ grocery check-list for some time thanks to its bounty of health boosting benefits: it’s packed with calcium, iron and zinc. And, not to mention, our favourite beauty ingredient, vitamin E – amazing for glowing skin, from the inside, out. Oh, and it’s also brain food. But, as with many store bought varieties of healthy foods and beverages, it’s hard to keep track of what is actually going into your body. Added sugar? Preservatives? Heavily diluted, eliminating potent nutrients? Well, the best way to get around this is to make your own – a healthy habit Beauticate founder, Sigourney, has come to love. Here, she shows you to make your own almond milk – it’s surprisingly easy and it’ll keep your (now nutrient fed) mind at ease.
