What’s the difference between a BB and a CC cream??

Hi Scarlett, BB stands for Beauty Balm or Blemish Balm and CC stands for Colour Correcting. Generally CCs are used to address issues like redness or sallowness where as BBs are more like tinted moisturisers and lighter than foundation with skincare benefits.

Have you used powder on top of BB Cream? Sometimes I get too dewy..

I didn’t use powder here because powder tends to cancel out the dewiness, but I have used it before just on my nose and forehead when it’s really hot and I think I’m going to get an oily t-zone. If you think you’ll be too shiny then do use some light powder just on the t-zone – you’ll still get the radiance on your cheekbones!

BB Cream has been my go-to lately as well, I like it because it’s not heavy in the heat and sun

    Sigourney,
In this video, did you apply a powder over the BB cream & what did you apply to your cheeks, a cream blush or a bronzer? As I am a mum, I love this fresh everyday look.
    Thankyou Vanessa ?

Hi Vanessa, thank you! I didn’t apply powder, but I did use a little of the nude by nature soft focus illuminator on the tops of my cheekbones. x
