Chrissy Teigen Posts Refreshing Approach To Stretch Marks

We can always count on Chrissy Teigen to remind us to love our bodies. The ever-candid model recently posted a photo on Twitter of the stretch marks on her leg with the caption “Whatevs.”

Even if you aren’t ecstatic about your stretch marks, which most of us probably aren’t, the new mum, to 9-month-old daughter Luna, she’s giving us a nice reminder that they simply aren’t a big deal, and look, they happen, obviously.

This type of post isn’t surprising from Teigen, as this past August she posted a Snapchat story of her cellulite with the caption “lol my thighs have tributaries,” taking a light and humorous approach to something that tends to make women feel self-conscious.

If someone whose life is putting their body, literally, in the stark spotlight can have such a nonchalant attitude towards her stretch marks, so can we. Here’s to Chrissy, keeping it refreshingly real.
