This year, our favourite Golden Globe beauty moments were also shared between A-list besties who shunned the solo spotlight. Proof that getting the girls together on a Saturday night for a little pre-party preening will never go out of style.
Michelle Williams & Busy Philipps:
Aside from giving us major Dawson’s Creek nostalgia, these two imparted some ridiculous best friend goals. The blondes went for understated makeup, letting the white Louis Vuitton lace (Michelle) and plunging black neckline (Busy) do all of the talking. They even managed to save clutch space by using each other as a mirror to retouch lippy. We just hope that these two carry on the tradition of being each other’s red carpet date.

Reese Witherspoon & Nicole Kidman:
Hollywood veterans Reese and Nicole positively glowed at the Globes, proving they continue to defy the biological process of ageing. Matching chokers, pink lips and metallic eyes prove these two are still queens of award season. Bonus kudos to Reese who managed to pull off the sunniest shade of lemon-yellow for the second time round.
