Self Care & Wellness Guide

Why I Made The Sacred Sixty

After years of interviewing doctors, scientists, nutritionists and wellness experts, and doing my own healing work, I realised the biggest problem isn’t knowing what to do.

It’s the overwhelm.
The Sacred 60 is my calm edit of what actually helps. Not trends. Not “do more”. Just practical rituals, tips and tools that support your nervous system, skin, energy, sleep and home, in real life.
— Sigourney x

“Recovering from burnout wasn’t a breakthrough. It was small, repeatable rituals.”

MIND & MOOD

Although the brain isn’t the first place we think to treat when we want to look better, it’s where everything starts. Mood, sleep, hormones and even skin quality are shaped by the nervous system.

“These rituals soothe stress, sharpen clarity and help you glow from the inside out.”

1.

REWIRE YOUR STRESS RESPONSE

Try the 4-7-8 breath: inhale through the nose for 4 counts, hold for 7, exhale slowly for 8. Repeat for 4 rounds. This rhythm activates the parasympathetic nervous system, slows the heart rate, and quiets a racing mind: it’s like a physiological sigh for the soul. A Moon Lamp helps illuminate the scene.

2.

A LIFE-CHANGING DAILY PRACTICE

Before screens or caffeine take a moment to think about your intentions for the day along with some gratitude. The Intelligent Change: The Five Minute Journal makes it easy and is beautifully paired with a cup of Matcha Maiden Match Green Tea

3.

BATHE YOUR BRAIN IN SOUND

Sound healing rituals have been used for centuries to soothe the body and brain. Binaural beats, crystal bowls or your favourite mantra all count. Try YouTube’s Healing Vibrations channel, a crystal bowl session at your local wellness studio. DIY with Tingsha Cymbals Bells.

4.

TAP YOUR WAY TO INNER PEACE

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) uses acupressure points to calm the brain. The Neurofit App, available with 20% off, is a nervous system coaching app that includes tapping exercises among many other somatic hacks to calm and reprogram your stress response.

7.

LET LIGHT SHIFT YOUR MOOD

By stimulating mitochondrial ATP production, it helps regulate your circadian rhythm, boost serotonin, and even ease seasonal lows. I sit in front of my Infraredi Pro Max available here with 10% off, each morning while journalling or sipping tea, it’s my daily sunrise, even on cloudy days.
