Kevin Murphy’s Chic New Hairstyles Dominate Myer’s AW 2017 Runway

Celebrity and runway hairstylist extraordinaire, Kevin Murphy, has taken over the celebrated Myer’s Autumn Winter 2017 Fashion Launch for the sixth year in a row. This year James Nicholson, a stylist part of Murphy’s protégé, will be leading the team of stylists.

Murphy has always set the hair trends for the impending season through the Myer launches since 2011, and this year’s styles aren’t disappointing.

This year it’s about chic up ‘dos, severe ponytails and dramatic metallic colour blocks (for the brave).

The show will be held on February 16 at the University of Melbourne’s renowned car park space in Carlton.

The remarkable architecture of the space consisting of dramatic arches makes the location the perfect place to set the stage for bold style statements for autumn and winter 2017.
