Our appetite for all things Scandinavian is showing no sign of abating, which is why Scandinavian Homes is a favourite of our Instagram interiors edit. Run by a Swedish interiors stylist, expect plenty of bright and airy images of Nordic homes decked out with covetable light fittings and mid-century design chairs. Hygge lovers rejoice.
Maximalism fiends will find their fix with the Instagram account of de Gournay, that opulent purveyor of wallpaper, porcelains and fabrics (Kate Moss and Poppy Delevingne are both fans). Their Instagram highlights some very chic spaces decorated with their Chinoiserie-inspired wares, full of bold and dreamy colours and antique pieces – plus it offers a peek into the homes of some of the most exacting interior design lovers worldwide. Completely OTT and we’re here for it.
Modern and light-filled homes that feels like you could immediately jump into the photo and start living in them: if this sounds to your liking, then we suggest you immediately follow The Design Chaser. The homes, in muted shades of creams and grey, strike the perfect note between chic and comfortable, with Scandi-influenced pieces, soft fabrics and linens, and architectural light fixtures.
Lovers of colour and spaces with character and personality will be enamoured with the homes decorated by Studio Ashby, a London-based design firm. They have a clear predilection for earthy colours that make for warm and welcoming spaces, and unique furniture pieces and exotic accessories that will have you dreaming.
If you’re an apartment-dweller, you don’t have to sacrifice style just because space is limited. Apartment Therapy showcases beautifully-appointed flats in a kaleidoscope of styles for every taste, with plenty of pops of colour and greenery, that will get you inspired to get (re)decorating – whether you’ve got bags of room at home or not.
