I’ve always had a fascination with vintage-inspired style, so Heather Sweet – better known as Dita Von Teese – is an enduring icon in my books. Taking her cues from Old Hollywood, Dita combines gilded glamour with a fun modern twist, and is always immaculately presented. This year, I’m leaving behind my usual slapdash approach to Christmas preparation (last minute present shopping, anyone?); instead, I aspire to be the perfect hostess, channeling Dita’s flawless execution. First things first: lipstick. For an extra festive sparkle, I’ll be wearing Gucci’s Rouge A Levres Lunaison: a bright, Santa-esque red with a glittering finish.
