After an intense season of Australia’s Next Top Model, the winner of the amateur model competition has finally been announced. Congratulations…. Aleyna Fitzgerald!

As ever, season favourite and self-confessed math nerd Aleyna Fitzgerald and dark horse Byron babe Sabine Jamieson were judged by the season’s exclusive panel (there were no guest judges this year) Jennifer Hawkins, Alex Perry and Megan Gale, on both photoshoot and runway. With high praise from all judges on both girl’s shots – Aleyna took it out with a perfect score of 30/30, winning over Sabine’s 29/30.

For the final challenge, the girls each shot an eight page fashion spread for Elle Australia, titled ‘Modern Princess’ – only Aleyna’s will be printed. The competition then moved to a ‘reunion runway’ – the show’s biggest ever finale runway including this season’s contestants as well as alumni from all previous seasons.

Taking out the title of Australia’s Next Top Model is a big deal for a wannabe model. But, to don the crown on the 10th season of the show is something special. With ANTM alumni including Montana Cox, Alice Burdea, Amanda Ware and Tahnee Atkinson (who all turned up for the finale show), just finding themselves in the top two means serious career trajectory. We’re excited to see where this fresh next gen of Aussie top model go.
