Behind the Scenes with Chanel and Lily-Rose Depp

Forget rolling around in piles of money. For a beautyholic, the ultimate buzz must come from being surrounded by hundreds of colourful Chanel lipglosses. Just ask Lily-Rose Depp. As these behind the scenes images from the Rouge Coco Gloss campaign shoot show, the actress was literally showered in the candy coloured wands, all while wearing a stunning Chanel dress.

Following her announcement as face of Chanel No 5 L’Eau last year, Lily-Rose’s partnership with Chanel continues as she heads up her next beauty campaign for the brand. The Rouge Coco Gloss Collection was in collaboration with Lucia Pica – Chanel’s global creative makeup and colour designer, who masterminded the 24-shade range, the melt-away gel formula and glide-on applicator (see Sigourney’s review here).

In the campaign, shot by Mario Testino, Depp accentuates her playful sensuality for which she is becoming a global star. As the daughter of Johnny Depp and French singer and long-time muse to Karl Lagerfeld Vanessa Paradis, Lily-Rose was practically destined to fall in with the brand. The seventeen-year-old made her debut walk in Chanel’s Metiers d’ Art Collection in December of 2016. This year, she landed the coveted role of closing Chanel’s runway at Paris Fashion Week this season – taking to Instagram to thank Karl Lagerfeld for the “beautiful honour”.
