In this deeply moving and wide ranging episode, I visit the Los Angeles home that actor Lindsay Price shares with her husband, the chef Curtis Stone, and their two boys. What unfolds is a conversation that traverses generational trauma, Hollywood highs, inner work and what truly matters.

Lindsay, best known for her roles in 90210 and Lipstick Jungle, opens up about her extraordinary family history, her journey through fame and motherhood, and how she cultivated such deep resilience and inner strength through it all. We talk about parenting, therapy, spirituality, and finding real love, both with her husband and within herself.

The untold story of her Korean mother

Lindsay shares the harrowing story of her Korean mother, who was abandoned at five and carried her baby brother on her back to survive during the Korean War. Her mother was later adopted by Lindsay's paternal grandfather, the founder of World Vision.

It is an experience that would go on to shape Lindsay's identity, her values, and the way she parents her own sons today. We talk about intergenerational trauma, boundary setting, and the quiet work of breaking cycles so they are not passed down.

Growing up mixed race in Hollywood

Lindsay speaks candidly about what it was like to grow up mixed race in Los Angeles, and the racism she experienced in her early Hollywood roles. She reflects on the evolving landscape of representation, and how far the industry still has to go.

She also takes us back to the pivotal moment Aaron Spelling invited her onstage and made her a series regular on 90210, and the time she nearly gave up acting altogether, right before she landed the lead in Lipstick Jungle.

Love, marriage and motherhood

Lindsay tells the story of how she met Curtis Stone and knew, almost immediately, that he was the one. We talk about the highs and the real challenges of fame, beauty standards, and being cast as a leading lady.

Now, as a mother of two, she shares how she balances career and family, and the parenting tools she leans on to support her sons' emotional wellbeing. Therapy, spiritual connection and female friendships are, she says, her non-negotiables.

Redefining beauty on her own terms

Lindsay is refreshingly honest about beauty pressures in Hollywood, her thoughts on Botox, and her commitment to building collagen naturally. Her approach is less about chasing perfection and more about feeling well from the inside out.

Her Sacred Six beauty and wellness essentials are a spiritual practice of prayer, meditation and nature walks, the U Beauty Super Hydrator, an infrared sauna, daily baths, Lashify underlash segments, and castor oil, which she swears by for hair growth, lashes, brows, digestion and melasma.
