The artist Henri Matisse once said ‘a certain blue enters your soul’. Unsurprisingly, Artists would set sail and scour the globe to get their hands on the most procured of pigments, and from the looks of the recent shows, not too much has changed. It seems we’re not the only ones infatuated with the blue period, with designers and makeup maestros diving into the blue on the grandest of scales.

Bold Azure Cat Eye Inspired by Mondrian
