Up on level one of the Calile, above the pool and the palms, KAILO does the serious skin work James Street is known for. This is a medispa, not a fluffy day spa, so the menu runs from Biologique Recherche facials to Halo and BBL laser, IV vitamin drips and DMK. The room reads like the hotel below it. Timber, stone, terrazzo, water moving somewhere just out of sight. You can book a facial or you can book a full reset. Either way you walk back out into the Valley looking like you slept for a week. That is the trick of the place.
