The stone walls date to the 1800s. They belonged to Spats Café once, and Fön kept them, then spent a year building a salon around them on King William Road. It paid off. The interior landed on a list of the world's top 100 for design, which is not a sentence you write about many Adelaide hairdressers. Inside there are warm lavender towels, a considered list of wine and gin, and a WFS station for anyone who cannot switch off. Pricing is gender-neutral.
